Feathers

They catch the wind and I soar away never to return
But I go to high and hit the sun and they begin to char and burn

A glittering display they are of crimson brown and gold
A beautiful fireball upon my sholders but no longer can they hold

I tumble back unto th earth a glorious meteor in the sky
And even though this journey will be the end never shall die

For even though they are broken and badly torn
From the ashes of my feathers will I always be reborn

Eyes are like lifes looking glass
They see into the soul
They see into you and me and what they see is cold

Eyes are like lifes looking glass
They watch way off ahead
They watch for signs of life but all they see is dead

Eyes are like lifes looking glass
They hear without ears
Eyes are like lifes looking glass and this looking glass is filled with tears

Never Happily Ever After

What happpens when...
The tower is too tall?
The fairy dust turns to glitter?
The magic wand is just a stick?

What happens if...
A kiss won't change the frog?
The dragon can't be slayed?
The unicorn loses it's horn?

What happens if...
The sword says in the stone?
The wizard can't cast the spell?
The princess never wakes?

What happens when?
The prince loses his charming?
The glass slipper doesn't fit?
The story doesn't start with once upon a time and never ends with happily ever after?
